Menu Planning Monday
Even with not following the menu perfectly last week, the week’s meals
went so much better, that I’m going to do this again.

Monday
chili-mac (recipe added below)
green beans
corn muffins

Tuesday
guys n girls night out

Wednesday – Valentine’s Menu
Steak w/ grilled mushrooms and onions
baked potatoes (making extra for Thursday)
green salad
french bread
Mystery Brownies

Thursday
Turkey melts or Grilled cheese sandwiches
Baked Potato Soup (recipe card insert, Feb. 13, 2007 Woman’s Day)

Friday
Crock-Pot Cabbage Rolls (p. 199 Saving Dinner, Leanne Ely)
Sunshine salad (orange sections, apple slices, banana chunks)
dinner rolls

Saturday
leftovers

Chili-Mac
5 cups cooked egg noodles
1 lbs ground beef
garlic salt, ground pepper, minced onion to taste
1/3 – 1/2 pkg chili seasoning mix packet
2 – 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 – 11 oz can Green Giant niblet corn (drained)
1 C reduced fat mozzarella cheese

In skillet on medium high, brown ground beef with garlic salt, ground pepper, and minced
onion. Add 1/2 – 1/2 packet chili seasoning mix packet. Stir in
tomato sauce and niblets. Put heat on low. Fold in cooked noodles and warm through.
Sprinkle reduced-fat cheese on top and cover with lid. Continue cooking on low until cheese is melted.
Makes 6-8 servings
